look: 3.75 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75
at the brewery, this one is listed as just a "sour" and the abv is fairly high for a berliner, and it has more body, but...otherwise, it seems to fit: wheat, kettle-soured with lactobacillus. As with the Big Juicy IPA that I also tried, this one was a pleasant surprise: some nice clear and tasty fruit flavors -- sour but flavorful apples, a little lemon, and a little flowery sweetness, too, that cut the creamy wheatiness very nicely. Nothing too fancy, but quite tasty and a very pleasant amount of refreshing sourness.
