Bottle from Safeway. Deep, rich golden color, clear, one finger creamy head. Aroma is light tangerines. Bigger citrus Flavors, caramel malts, sweet. Equal parts citrus peel and hoppy bitterness. Mostly fruity though.

Bomber purchased at a grocery. Poured in to a pint glass.
Pours a clear gold color with a thin white head.
Smell is a musty grain aroma with a hint of sweet citrus.
Taste is a lot like the smell. Kind if an artificial orange flavor.
Mouthfeel is light and clean.
Overall not a great IPA. The orange flavor feels like an addition rather than an integral part of the bee.

Transparent amber with a thin layer of off white foam. Head drops quickly but leaves some nice lacing. The aroma is very orange. Taste is sweet and orange, with minimal bitterness. As some of the other reviewers have said, this may not be what you expect from an IPA with strong citrusy hop characteristics. Instead it's more of a pale ale flavored with a healthy dose of orange peel. It's medium bodied and smooth with a somewhat sweet aftertaste. Overall, a pleasant beer, even if not what I was expecting.

Clear amber brew with enough carbonation. Aroma is Intense orange. Serious sweet citrus flavor with more orange peel. Moderately bitter. Endless citrus aftertaste wears out its welcome.
I wish brewers would be more straightforward with whether it's hopped or flavored with fruit or peel or what. I think the limits of "Citrus IPA" have been reached here. But then Stone will release one that's aged on several tons of rind from an organic juicer. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.

Bottle poured into a frosty mug at home. This is truly a citrus beer, however, I tend to agree with the one prior review in that it is really not an IPA. It is very mellow and more pale alish, however, it is still very delicious. It truly delivers on the citrus aspect and tastes heavy of orange but is certainly not a Radler as was mentioned in prior reviews. I struggle to condemn this beer because its name mislabels it's true nature to a degree. Instead I am praising it for its very tasty qualities even though it really is not an IPA.

A 22oz bottle seasonal release from No-Li Brewhouse, featuring 36 IBUs and 7.2% Alc/Vol.
This is a hazy orange and heady mess. The aroma is intense with tangerine peel and sweet juice. This "citrus" isn't a euphemism for dry hopping. The flavor has a bit of IPA dryness to it, but this is really more like a pale ale... mixed with an equal part orange juice. This is most like a Radler, except with orange juice instead of lemonade, and 50% stronger instead of 50% weaker than regular beer.
This beer could have been a real disaster. I was hoping for a strong, dry hopped PNW IPA with lost of citrus and zest hop character, and maybe a subtle addition of fruit rind. What I got was nothing like that and more closely resembles a glass of juice. But it's not nearly so disastrous as it could have been.
