Pours a muddy brown with a minimal tan head that recedes very quickly and leaves zero lacing. The aroma is whiskey and brown sugar and has an almost medicinal quality. The taste is moderately sweet but dominated by the whiskey and the barrel. There’s a good deal of booze heat and some oak tannin astringency. Full bodied and almost syrupy.
