an ipa/pale ale type with peach, to me a little bit sweet and artificial, not quite cheap tasting, but not real fruit to me either, seems like its added after fermentation too, almost a candy-like complexion to it, and not as hoppy as i thought it would be, not even enough bitterness to balance the fruit, so i think the proportions are a little weird, but the beer isnt bad, and is probably a popular menu item for them. its lightly orange in color, pretty clear, and has a cool nose, that its peach is immediately obvious, but sort of cooked and candied to me, not juicy and ripe, but appealing. the flavor is where it turns a little less natural, even a little bit of a metallic thing to the beer overall pushing it in that direction. some light pine and complimentary citrus from the hops, but not enough bitterness i dont think, and this finishes sweeter than i want to drink much of. its not bad, but its also not as compelling as it should be, and i wish it were drier and more hoppy. that said, its hard to complain about anything when sitting riverside in their amazing outdoor space at the brewery! maybe im just being too critical, but this really didnt impress me much...
