a new hazy from these guys, i appreciate them trying to modernize a bit, make some newly branded hazy stuff to get the contemporary drinker interested in their brands again, things have been just a tad tired over here recently, so this was a welcome sight. its rusty orange color from the tap under a high and lasting inch of white fluffy head, quite dense looking with how hazy it is, and the color is deeper and maltier than many, they just cant help themselves can they? the nose is solid, this is fresh and bright for its color, not as grainy as it looks either, a little sweet, but fruity too, pineapple and mango notes, a little hash oil or something too, not a super original profile, but no denying its pleasant, and it tastes just like it smells. a little more grain here, short of nutty but maybe a honey sweet note from it, and it lingers a little longer than it needs too. i like the flavor here, its juicy and good, but this drinks a little heavy with all the haze and the amount of residual sugar thats here, slows this down a little too much, but i appreciate the effort overall and am happy to see some new stuff from these guys, definitely on the right track with this one...
