On tap at the hotel restaurant, looks awesome in a stemmed pokal. Kind of almost steam beer like, with that flavor and mouthful profile: some sulfur, some caramel and brown bread malts, some orchard fruit and herbal hops. Moderate body, low carb, a little chewy, slight lively edge, but mellow mainly. Enjoyed it a lot.

330ml bottle, date stamp 06 2025 L41571001. Served in a stemmed 25cl Rastel branded glass.
Appearance: Perfectly clear/bright amber gold color. Thin white head with some strands that slid back down the glass.
Smell: Malty with a nice dose of noble hops.
Taste: Crisp, with a nice toasted malt and a notable, but not excessive, noble hop bite.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, dry finish.
Overall / Drinkability: A solid well balanced beer, more like a Helles in style. Went well with salmon and potatoes. Would not have minded another.

October 2013: 330 ml bottle. ABV is 5.6%. Clear deep golden to amber colour, moderate to low white head. Aroma of caramel malts, ripe berries and herbal hops, a hint of honey. Medium sweet flavour of caramel malts and brown bread, dry finish with some herbal hops and a hint of honey again. Okay, but did not blow my socks off.

Totally underplayed by BA. Also at Zurich airport as much better than the Heinnies.
a) Red clear ale, pretty amber, white head does not last, but laces.
s) Malt, fruit, sweet, sum greater than parts.
t) Likewise
f) Thin vs best draft, but the sweet body has more heft than most mass.
o) An airport winner!
