Was expecting a Belgium-style blonde ale. This is obviously a Summer Shandy -Lemonade & beer. Kudos to the name and art on the can, though.

Pale gold draught pour (a 3 - 4) with thin white head that disappeared quickly and left no lace; excellent clarity. Lite floral hop nose. Lite floral hop taste. Light watery mouthfeel and almost no carbonation. Not much here...

Battleaxe Blonde pours a bright straw color with no head. There is a crisp and lemon like aroma. The taste had a nice noticeable crisp malt flavor, with hints of lemon. The flavors were lighter, and the body was rather flat. Overall, however, its a nice easy drinking beer for a hot day.
