Light brown (24) draught pour with off white head; decent cap retention and moderately heavy lace; excellent clarity. Lite malt nose. Light caramel malt taste. Light mouthfeel and very light carbonation. Overall a fine tasting dark lager, but under carbonated.

Long Ship Lager pours a hazy brown color with no head. There wasn't any aroma. The taste has some roasted notes, mostly sweet flavors, and finished with a bit of a harshness. There was a decent body of this one, and some noticeable flavors. Overall it wasn't bad, some nice flavors, and easy to drink.

Sampled at Dempseys Brew Pub. Came out as a sampler with a light amber color that was cloudy. Limited head retention that disappeared over time, no lace and little carbonation. There was basically no smell to the beer.
The taste was slightly watered down. Limited malt flavoring and very little hops. Hallertau was noticeable and some earthy tones were present. Overall there was very limit taste.
