This beer was shipped to me in a plastic bottle. I dont think I like that too much. Plastic is evil.
This beer pours a cloudy golden brown with a very light brown head. The head fades slightly fast leaving almost no laces. I can smell a biscuty aroma. This beer has a malty aroma. I can detect a slight hop aroma also. I might also detect a very slight spicy aroma. This beer tastes more spict than it smells. I taste very little in the way of hops. It is slightly malty. I can not detect the alcohol in the aroma or the taste. Not much to say about this beer. This beer is carbonated well. It goes down smooth leaving a spicy aftertaste. I think this beer might make a decent session beer. Thanks Oxymoron for hooking me up.

Pours a hazy orange rusty amber color with a foamy light tan head that soon fades into a wispy lace. Nose is dominated by an aroma of burnt toast along with a bit of charcoal ash. The taste begins with sweet malt and a hint of buttery dark toffee followed by a strong burnt flavor. Mildly spicy hops come across towards the end, but the burnt flavor is still the dominant player here. An unusual beer. Thanks to Oxymoron for the sample!
