Had a great time here on a family to Vermont. Always been a fan of Long Trail beers but they had a wider range of selection here than what I see back in RI (i.e. Barrel Aged Triple Bag). The atmosphere, service, and food was all great. They were able to accommodate the 16 of us in their tent section, which wasn't too bad at 10 degrees.

This place is off the road kind of in the middle of nowhere (Yes, I know I'm in Vermont) near Killington where we stayed one week in the summer with my cousins. I remember enjoying the food and service but it wasn't too expensive. We went for late lunch one day. I ate a ton of food as portions were large and my wife ate only part of her's. They had ten or twelve selections available including some specialties. I remember drinking a lot of Double Bag during that week but I had their white IPA thing too. Overall, definitely a cool stop if you happen to be in the area.

Went there Oct 2015 on a brewery trip to Vermont. Location is awesome, brewery sits next to a river. My fav. beer there was their Space Juice. Drank beer and skipped rocks in the river.

a must visit, I have been blessed to visit about a dozen times now, food is over the top, the music is very fitting for VT, great setting right on a winding stream, beer is wonderful, always a rarity on tap and there is popcorn!!! The wings are off the chart!

This place gets better every year. The food is really pretty good and the staff is so friendly that you feel like don't want to leave. The beer may not rate as well as some of the new northern VT breweries, but these brewmasters are always offering some real treats that are only availabe at the brewery, sometimes not even available for growler fills. Overall a really great experience. Beware of the food portions. they're HUGE!

If you are driving anywhere near by and you don't stop by you are doing yourself a serious dis-service. Good food, the beer is awesome, staff is friendly and will help you plan the rest of your trip to various VT breweries. Outdoor patio area with adirondack chairs overlook the river that flows directly behind the brewery make for the perfect beer sipping experience.

Went here with my wife after a bad trip riding up through Vermont (long story!). Was glad to finally stop at a place for drinks and food. The brewery space had quite a large dining area with outdoor seating and a bar area centrally located. The space had a cabin-like feel with its wood interior. Stairs lead up to the brewery itself which you can see the action happen. There did not seem to be structured tours, but you still get to peek into their operations.

The place was quite busy, which gave the dining area a festive and social atmosphere. Judging from the location of the brewery, the place probably gets a lot of tourists year-round and a lot of skiers during the skiing months. The wait staff was very friendly and relaxed, much like the atmosphere of the place.

Food menu was decent with general pub items. I had the steak and cheese sub and two beers from the tap. The beer was great, but my sandwich was ok. We ate inside, but near the windows where you can see a nice view of a river. Very idyllic view of Vermont nature from the brewery location.

With a good location and good interior atmosphere, this facility was a great place to visit, relax, and have some beer.

The location is nice, great deck that you can enjoy. It sits right over a river with nice scenery. The service is a little slow and they don't seem to be able to handle the après ski crowd to well. Their beer is fine, I think Limbo is great, other options are drinkable but nothing else is particularly memorable. The food is pub style stuff and is middle of the line at best. Sitting on the deck for a beer or two is fun after spring skiing, but I would not make a special trip.

Living only 30 minutes away, our family makes regular visits to Long Trail. While there isn't a large selection of food, whatever they do offer is great...although a little pricey. The real treat is getting freshly made Long Trail beer on tap. We'll continue being regular visitors.

One of the first breweries I ever visited. Love this place, especially in the summer when you can sit outside along the river. The burgers are excellent. Nothing beats a Blackbearry Wheat and a burger sitting outside.

We take our winter ski vacation in Vermont every March in Killington VT. . Our favorite place to visit during our vacation is the Long Trail Brewing Pub. Good food and great brews. We have spent many afternoons sitting at the pub talking and enjoying the brews. If you get the chance to visit the area you have to put the Long Trail Brewing Co. on your to do list. You won't be sorry.

For a craft brewery that is so litigious, you would think they would have their house in order when it comes to their beer. But after tasting a bottle of the used dishwater they call an IPA, and then accidentally taking a sip of my wife's glass of their long trail ale, I instantly questioned their legal strategy. Suing another craft brew half way across the country for alleged trademark infringement only serves to benefit you if their product cheapens the value of yours. I would say that you could drink straight kerosene and get a better experience than one receives from drinking a Long Trail beer.

The tour is sad, just a self guided enclosed catwalk that you can look down into the brewery, but still slightly interesting. Long Trail makes great everyday beer nothng to surprising on the menu, other than their normal day to day beers, the nachos were outstanding though, excellent patio area to hang out and enjoy said nachos as well, if you are in the area worth a stop for a meal but don't go too far out of your way for it.

Live about 40 mintues from it in the Okemo Valley. I go there as often as I get a craving for there wings or to get some fresh from the brew draft. Love sitting out by the river in the summer as well. Only thing that does get me is the tour, it's ok. I would love though if they did a second tour on the floor of the brewery.

Visited with a friend on a crisp and clear Vermont day. The pub was busy, generally good atmosphere. We had chili and nachos which I would have to say we're only "fair". I would say the burgers that some seated around us were getting looked terrific. A odd quirk is that although they fill growlers, they will only fill their own growler, supposedly due to the local beverage control laws. Worth a trip if you are in the area.

What a great brewery! Served the beer at the just the right temperature out of a pint glass and also did flights. Beer prices were relatively cheap which I didn't expect and the brewery itself was located right near Killington, Pico Peak, and the Appalachian Trail. The brewery also provided a self guided tour of their brewery which was cool but not extremely personal by any means. The atmosphere was superb, offering both a tap bar and tables for if you wanted some lunch (only downside was the kids running around the brewery, but it was still really good). The wait staff clearly knew their stuff and were very friendly and quick to get you whatever you wanted! The food was typical kind of bar food, pretty good, but the beer on tap really made the experience. I was never a huge fan of Long Trail until this visit. Their beer on tap is two times better than it is served from the bottle, trust me! Their Limbo IPA and Blackbeary IPA out of the tap is almost too much to handle (not the best while eating a meal though). Absolutely worth a visit

Long trail in a fun brewery to visit. They brew good solid beer. Limbo ipa is one of my favorites. Vibrate atmosphere while waiting for a table. Grab a brew or two, if weather is nice head outside or just hang inside. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent.

The wife and I stop here on our way to NH every once in a while. Overall, we really enjoy the beer and the food but we have found that the food quality can be a little in consistent. Fortunately this is not the case with the beer, i will usually get the sampler to try the selection out, the staff is very helpful with recommendations.

Stopped by on a Vermont trip for dinner. The atmosphere perfectly captures the local trail lodge feel they are going for. The quality of the actual restaurant was very good, and the map with pins from where people have come from is entertaining. The quality of the beer was ok, but not amazing. The selection was smaller than I would have imagined, supporting the local feel but dissapointing for a visitor. The various series beers does help this problem though. The service was excellent and timely, they were knowledgeable about both the food and beers. Overall a solid place, worth a stop if in the area.

Visited this wonderful little brewery twice on recent trips to Vermont. I was quite impressed with the overall operation and quality of the beer. Having the ale pulled directly into your pint glass is a treat. I tried every available beer they had and was not disappointed. Came back with a couple of cases of Long Trail Ale as well. This will be my mainstay watering hole whenever I'm in the neighborhood!

This was one of the first breweries the wife and I stopped at on our on year road tripping around the US. The location is stellar, tucked in the beautiful VT rolling hills with greenery in every direction. The selection of beer included just about every distributed LT beer, but the quality is a bit lacking, only slightly above average for many of their brews. Service was great, these folks are super friendly. You can do a self guided tour of the brewery upstairs and be sure to place a pin on their map for your home town.

This was the third stop on our VT brewery tour. We arrived starving and in desperate need of a bathroom in the middle of a rain storm. We were soon put in a good mood. We ordered the sampler that had Blackbeary Wheat, Belgian White, Long Trail Ale, Pale Ale, IPA. I ordered the pulled pork. Everything was amazing. The service was a little slow but we pulled in right behind a big tour bus so we understood. The three of us fell in love with the Blackbeary Wheat and we ended up getting a 6 pack to go. This brewery is in a beautiful area and if you have time to drive up the moutain it is worth the visit.

A great brewery/ pub tucked into the Green Mountains of Vermont! Very laid back and friendly! A great place to spend an afternoon for lunch or an early dinner. It is the kind of place made to stop in after a day of skiing or leaf peeping! Or just to spend a lazy afternoon tasting a few of your favorite beverages!

Long Trail make some great beers and they have many of their selections on tap for your enjoyment.

They also have a decent pub menu to go along with their fine beer selections.

Very rustic but also very clean and family friendly

I go to Vermont every year for vacation and my family and I finally took the hour and half drive to Long Trail. When I got there I was worried because it didn't look open, the parking lot was empty but a few motorcycles. When I walked in I was welcomed by the staff and asked if I needed help or a table. We took a self guided tour of the factory. At the time they were bottling their long trail ale. After we were finished checking that out we went down stairs where they had awesome fireplaces and huge deer heads on the walls, very Vermont! We went outside to their deck which is right on the river and ordered food and beers! The fish and chips were probably the best I've tried! The sample beers come out in a muffin pan which was very unique and a cool way to serve them. The prices were good not too much. Overall I really enjoyed myself and would take the trip for the food! We will be returning for a day at Long Trail!

Long Trail brewing almost seems very touristy on first looks. The place was packed on a saturday afternoon with a stiff wait to go with it.

Eating wasn’t happening, so I’ll more comment on the beer and service. The selection was very good when it came to their own beers. They offered up plenty of their year round beers to drink+buy along with being able to get some of their more special releases very easily too.

The service was great and fast. Everyone was extremely nice there and very friendly.

The only real downside was the lack of a real brewery tour. It’s just a open walk around which is nice, but it would’ve been better to have someone give us more info than just walking around.
