THRUST! ...an IPA pours a hazy yellow in colour with a slight hint of fuzzy peach shining through while producing a pillowy crown, much like the glowing clouds a rocket leaves in its wake. We've heard astronauts would rather this than that other drink as they orbit the planets due to the aromas of grapefruit, plump white grape, fresh mango and strawberry. A creamy soft mouthfeel provides flavours of lychee, kiwi and grape that are joined by some light crackery/biscuit notes. The 6.5% is deceptive - well hidden thanks in part to the juice forward qualities that THRUST! exemplifies with each sniff, each sip. Yes, much better than a glass of Tang - it's outta this atmosphere.

Cloudy yellow orange, 4 fingers of head.
Smells good, dank tropical fruits with a slightly metallic note.
Amazing rich fresh tropical fruit, but the metallic note on the nose comes through.
Overall excellent brew. Got it in Kitchener Nov 17, 2022, drinking in New Hamburg.

Look: Pours a super hazy golden muted orange, with a dense 1 1/2 finger head of bright white bubbles. The head gives way very slowly and is still a solid 1/2 finger or more after 5 minutes, with solid lacing.
Smell: A tropical delight. Pineapple and grapefruit are the star, with solid notes of peach and mango sweetness. The smell is a nice balence of sweet with earthy dank endgame.
Taste: The grapefruit so prominant on the nose, lead the way in the flavours as well. By mid sip a dry cracker maltiness is noticeable. Sweet notes of pineapple, mango and cantaloupe are also present.
Feel: Round and creamy. This beer is soft as 3 ply. There is a flavour or texture to delight every part of your mouth.
So GLB is undoubtably Ontario's master of the IPA. This was a beer I'd wanted to find for so long, so seeing it in the LCBO today was a treat. I don't know if HazeMama or Thrust! wins the GLB Gold Medal, but it's a photo finish. This is a solid A beer.

L: Hazy opaque camel yellow with lots of bubbles stuck to the glass and a frothy head and lacing
S: Strong fruity citrusy inviting aroma with notes of peach and mango
T: Powerful taste but not quite over the top hoppy and fruity or bitter, it's pretty well rounded. Lightly resiny citrus pith hops and subtle toasty crackery malts
F: Pretty typical, medium body and carbonation. A little bit dry and oily.
O: Not quite as amazing as I was expectin but certainly drinkable and I would try again.

New to Alberta - I have lost my passion for the hazy IPA - largely due to sameness; but this stands out for what the style should be for me.
Pours a hazy peachy golden yellow - bright - with one and a half fingers of puffy rocky white head.
On the nose grapefruit, piney on the head, grainy malts, and as warmed a definite peachy note.
Tastes sweet and slightly malty but dominated by a juicy fruit salad of peach, ripe orange, mango, melon with just a touch of grapefruit peel bitterness - the hops give a pleasant bittersweetness without any hop burn.
Medium mouthfeel - deliciously smooth and sweet with wonderful hop flavours but devoid of significant bitterness.

New England style. 12oz can PKG on Oct 15 2019.
A- Hazy, gold-yellow, 2 finger slightly off-white head.
S- Mango, oranges, apricots, sweet cracker malt.
T- Slight sweetness, grapes, mango, oranges. Low bitterness. Slight malts comes through that I find in many GLB IPAs and APAs. Slight hop chalkiness on finish.
M- Medium, finish is dry.
O- Good NEIPA. Don't remember what the non-NEIPA tasted like but this one is quite good.

Great Lakes Brewery never disappoints.
Thrust an IPA is 6.5% and 72 IBUs.
This dry-hopped beer is a strong dose of grapefruit aroma and taste. It’s wet and juicy in the mouth and has a smooth finish.
Definitely one to try.
