Part of the Project X series.
Appearance - Pours a copper with finger of bubbly white head.
Smell - bready malts, leafy and earthy hops, coffee, and earthy yeast.
Taste - Bready malts followed by strong notes of coffee. The leafy and earthy hops alongside the earthy yeast help to round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes with a pleasant roastiness from the coffee.
Overall - An interesting venture by adding cold brewed coffee to a Pale Ale. Good on Great Lakes for a successful attempt and pushing their brewing limits.
