Pretty good. Pours lots of foam, at least 2 fingers worth. Hazy yellow with an ever so slight orange tinge to it. Not super hazy like some other IPA's. Taste is ok. Not overly strong or bitter. Moderate amount of juiciness and mild bitter hoppy after taste. Pretty good IPA beer. Would buy again, but there are many better option out there.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled; from my favourite Walmart on Tecumseh Rd. East in nearby Windsor. My eighth beer from the Etobicoke, ON brewery.

Pours a bright yellow; sea of lovely debris. The scent is general citrus and nectar. At first taste, the profile here is heavily melon and sweeter stone fruits. Finishes sharp; grapefruit and berry. The feel is soft, but bubbly. Overall a very good beer.

That aptly portioned yeast makes this brew special as it works perfectly with the malt and the hops. I’m not too peculiar with each forte or misgiving - this NEIPA talks to me.

Best Canadian IPA yet! New England style IPA. Falls somewhere between Dogfish Head’s 60 and 90 min IPA. Pleasantly surprised. This one would be sessionable if the alcohol content was a bit lower. After the US exchange rate this one is a steal. Will definitely buy this one regularly now! Love it! Love it! Love it!
Another reviewer nailed the pineapple, mango, peach flavour profile. I would have never named it but they are right.

Got this at the LCBO
From a 473ml can into a pint glass
APPEARANCE: Pours a two finger, medium looking, fluffy white head with great retention. Hazy gamboge orange in color with no carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a foamy cap and leaves some foamy lacing down the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Honeydew melon, caramel malts, tropical fruit notes, some pineapple and passion fruit, as well as hints of grapefruit on the nose. Bolder aromas.
TASTE: Tropical fruits, passion fruits, pineapple with honeydew and some hop bitterness at the swallow. Bolder finish of caramel and honeydew melon sweetness, pineapple, passion fruit and touches of piney bitterness linger on the palate.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamier on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes a touch mouth-coating. Solid stuff.
OVERALL: Good stuff for sure. Look is pretty average, but the aroma and flavor is plenty enjoyable, and the feel is creamy and smooth enough to make it an enjoyable ride. Good stuff and well worth checking out if you’re a fan of GL, which I’ve been for quite a while now. Cheers!

Pours a hazy and lightish Orange-amber colour with a nice finger thick head, slowly bubbles down into a little white cap.
First NEIPA I’ve had so far that the smell was actually a little juicy. Never got that descriptor before now. Typical NEIPA here, tropical dominates with a pineapple mango and peach, and maybe even a little kiwi in there as well.
Tasty stuff. More citrus on the palate here than was on the nose, mostly sweet ones such as tangerine, orange, maybe a squirt of limey zest. Some pineapple and mango on the tongue as well, but the citrus and tropical are more balanced compared to the tropical forward nose. General cereal grains come in on the finish in a very subtle way. Gentle bitterness flows throughout but it is not particularly strong; if anything a sweetness is present in the taste of this beer. Grapefruit is on the finish as well.
Medium bodied beer, with decent carbonation, I’d say medium-ish. The alcohol provides a very delightful body to the beer and is present enough on the tongue to really bring out the flavours without having any sense of burning or unwanted heat. This all combines to create what I would consider one of the nicest mouthfeels and tastiest body of a NEIPA that I’ve had in a long time.
While the sip begins more juicy with a splash, a gentle astringency takes over at the end, giving it a bittersweet finish. This means the finish is a little unique, feels like it’ll be juicy and creamy, but it finishes more dry than you’d think.
While there is no outright insane innovations or flavours that deviate from a typical NEIPA, the alcohol mixes well and creates this very nice and unique feel and experience. There is something that is a little hard to describe that goes on when you drink this. It distinguishes itself from other NEIPAs. Many of which are all great, their flavour profile tends to elevate the style so it sits above average, but they can become indistinguishable after all. Not so with this beer. Definitely one I would have again and again.

L: Opaque hazy medium yellow, thin foamy white head lots of bubbles
S: Strong tropical fruity blend aroma, mango, pineapple, peach, and some citrus. Little else to the smell.
T: Bold yet smooth hard to place flavour. Not overly fruity, balanced hops and malts. Resiny and spicy grapefruit pith on the finish. Medium bitterness.
F: Medium body, low carbonation. A little bit dry, oily, and foamy.
O: Pretty good but not a favourite, felt like it was missing something.

Pours a turbid opaque grapefruit juice colour. The smell is tropical and bitter. The taste is also bitter, citrusy, hoppy, sweet all together. Quite complex. Mouthfeel is thick and orange juice consistency.

2020 is all a bunch of haze no? This beer seems to suit the year. Poured an October 2020 into a tulip where a translucent orange caramel blend greets your eye. Fine collar here that lasts. Melon orange and pineapple start the well balanced nose here with pine undertones. Taste is also fruity citrus with a solid balanced of bitter hops and woody grains. Finish lingers as NEIPAs should but not overwhelming. This one pairs well with desserts, popcorn or burgers. Another fine addition to the Great Lakes lineup.
