Pours inky black with a small head that throws up a smattering of lace. The aroma is of vanilla and some light roastiness. Lots of vanilla up front in the taste with roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate in there too. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with light carbonation. Vanilla and sweet but not cloying malts linger in the finish.
A nice flavored Porter with lots of vanilla flavor.

Great big head, quite dark, looks good. Nose is noticeably sweet with lots of vanilla. Stouty stuff lurks in the background. Sweet and vanilla up front to taste. Chocolate, toffee, and coffee to taste, a slightly sour finish. Thin-bodied, not quite syrupy.
