Bottle from Brewery I was told this was an APA;

Pours a gold-amber in the glass with a rocky white cap. modest carbonation.

Aroma is decent; citrus-pine over dulcet cereal tones some caramel sweetness and some earthy mustiness...floral fruity undertones.

Thinish body bitter character

Tastes malty with resinous-citrus bittering in balance in front then goes really bitter towards the finish. Metallic aftertaste.

Another one-off not ready for prime time. 2 dimensional overly bitter with no developed underlying character. Bitterness without support of complexity is pointless.

A: Amber-copper, off-white head, some retention, good lacing.

S: Big leafy hop nose with plenty of nectarine, peach & grass.

T: Tangerine, nectarine, rind, grainy biscuit & toffee. Slight malt sweetness is backed up (actually overcome) with a solid bitterness.

M: Smooth moderate body has some hop acidity.

D: A good drinker.

Decent cask at C'est What. Medium golden with a white Caesar head, that leaves a sheet of lace. Decent hoppiness, that leads to fruit. Good IBU at 60. More or less average IPA. Average mouthfeel, expected more aroma. Would like this in bottle and think its a good candidate.

Poured at the C'est What Fall Fest, and one of the few that I really liked. The IBUs on this one weighed in at a little over 60 according to the cheat sheet.

Pours a slightly cloudy orange with a bone white head that has good retention and produces some nice spotty lace. Fresh hoppy aroma with lots of candied citrus - orange, tangerine and a splash of grapefruit. Beyond that its evident that there's a good malt base, with strong notes of caramel. The hops have the driving seat in the flavour, primarily showing c-hop characteristics with the odd leafy and floral moment. Nice biscuit base with caramel to balance things out a little. Higher hopped than you would expect in Ontario, with a slightly drying finish. Refreshingly light mouthfeel with restrained carbonation.

This is good and yet another step in the right direction from Great Lakes. Keep it up, guys!

On cask at C'est What?.

Pours a lightly hazy orange/amber, slowly settles down to a thin ring around the glass, drops some decent lace spots on its way down. Smell is nice, floral and citrus, orange and tangerine, tea, honey, caramel, some biscuit, pretty big hoppiness to this one. Taste is similar, floral, some biscuit and caramel malt, tangerine, orange peel, but finishes a little astringent, some harsh bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with low carbonation, I like it but found it a bit too harsh.
