"A very rad 34th anniversary beer"
Appearance - Pours a hazy orange marmalade with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, citrus, leafy, floral hops, grapefruit and citrus peel, mango, papaya, peach, hint of pineapple, bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold earthy, citrus, leafy, and floral hops upfront. The grapefruit and citrus peel come through next. There is a bit of pine resin in the taste which is a welcome surprise. The mango, papaya, peach, and hint of pineapple follow suit. The bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A very easy drinking, and flavourful brew from Great Lakes. This one takes elements from a classic West Coast IPA and elements of New England IPA. The brew is a dangerous sipper as the ABV is noticeable. Great job on this one!
