Pours opaque black with no light penetration on the sides of the glass. The rocky, giant head dissipates pretty quickly, coating the glass in lace. Roasted barley, fresh roasted espresso and leather in the nose. The taste is rich layers of chocolatey, roasty malts with tobacco and vanilla notes in the back. Piney hops in the mix for balance. The mouthfeel is oily thick with light carbonation. The finish is highly bitter with loads of roastyness.
A nice Imperial Stout with a rich and complex malt profile. Excellent stuff that I will seek out again.
