Received this beer from a recent trade with liamt07. Cheers!
Orange color beer with some copper in there too. Veiled. No head. Aroma is intense. Fruits. Oranges. Some grapefruits there too. Very intense aroma! This is a very aggressive beer in the mouth. Very bitter... piny. A dry finish. Piny taste which lingers in the mouth for a long time. Strangely, even though it has a low ABV, it is warm in the mouth. Nice. Lots of floaties in there too... Not filtered. Crude. I like it.

Tasting notes from 6/18/11
Poured in to pint glass. ABV = 5.5%, BU = 43
A - Medium orange with a slight yellow glow. Somewhat hazy. Half a finger of foamy off-white head.
S - Pine, grapefruit and orange peel dominate the nose with a slight caramel malty sweetness in the background. A nice nose!
T - A good sharp bitterness from the hops is noticeable right away and throughout. Some pine and citrus flavours come through with a very slight sweetness in the background.
M - medium body with moderate carbonation.

Bottle from the brewery. 650ml bomber split with Steve and Sammy, into a tulip. Listed at 43 IBUs.
Poured a rusty orange, with an offwhite head that was creamy and relatively dense. Nose had some orange, juicy citrus and some hints of pine. Taste was along the same lines, juicy hops, more orange, some cracker, a bit of melon character and some pale malt grain. Good feel to it, moderate bitterness and a medium-full mouthfeel. Solid drinkability and quite a nice APA, appropriate for the style. Good thing I've got another bottle kicking around.

Spot on the style. Orange coloured body. Some melon and orange flavour. Wafts hop aomas. Decent drinkability. Just not as tasty and certainly not as complex as I would expect. Collaboration with local amateur brewing group.
Bottle from the brewery, thanks Liam07.
