Beer is a very cloudy amber colour, with a small but frothy white head. Good lacing.
Initial smell is all hops- quite citrus focused. However, as I drank, the smell that became the most pronounced for me, bizarrely enough, was an unmistakable cheddar cheese scent! Not sure how to explain that. Not a bad smell, actually- good cheddar! Anyway, at first seemed a fairly typical IPA scent, but was quite confused by the rest!
Bitterness is present throughout. Some citrus, but not a huge amount. The cheese, luckily, is not really part of the taste! A fairly simple flavour. Bitterness is not bad, but is not accompanied by much else. Not a lot of complexity.
Beer is quite carbonated, and a bit irritating. Medium bodied.
Not a bad IPA, but certainly not one of my favourites from the brewery.

On tap at Wychwood Barns event, enjoyed with the brewers. 80 IBU rated, and it seemed like a 1.5 X a regular IPA, with citra, amarillo and simcoe. Orange colour, no head, very citrus, full of flavour, carbonation right there and good drinkability. Wuld be even better with food.
