650ml bomber shipped out by liamt07 poured into tulip 15/10/11

A hazy peachy pink with a very odd big bubbled soapy white head that leaves thick partial rings of lace

S floral honey and a lovely raspberry scent that's wonderful, rather sweet and just a hint of booze

T again very nice but a little more booze and a faint cough syrup flavor that I sadly don't mind at all, a little booze but considering its over 10% pretty well done

M light and fluffy for the strength, leaves a little slickness behind

O I liked this beer a fair bit and can't think of anything like it available in our market here in Alberta

not as heavy as a BW and with a good blast of smells and tastes that leaves this BA pretty happy. Great Lakes should work this into their rotation and ship it to Alberta so my girlfriend can find me attractive. I'm not joking Great Lakes my Misses likes this more then me (and I'm pretty cool) and your life will be a living hell until I can keep her drunk with this brew

Project X bottle from the brewery, 650ml into some tulips. Rated at 30 IBUs.

Pours a hazy dark red, with some lighter reds/rose hues in there. White head, which falls to some bubbles; good legs and leaves some lacing behind. Nose has loads of fresh yet ripe raspberry, wheat, some honeylike sweetness and a bit of alcohol - light ethanol like notes in this regard. Taste has some sweet raspberry, ethanol, and more sweet honey-like notes as per the nose. Pretty full body, good sweetness but a fair amount of tartness derived form the raspberries comes through in the finish. I felt like this really complemented and authenticated the raspberries (the actual fruit not extract or otherwise, I'll assume) employed here. Some alcohol lingers in the throat. Nice flavour, but either needs a bit of tinkering if not a bit of time to cool the ethanol. A cool fall night was perfect for this however; a unique offering.
