On tap at the brewery for Project X-mas. Into a footed pilsner glass, 30 IBUs.

Pours just about black with some dark reds in the light at the absolute edges. Light tan head and retention, with not much in terms of lacing. Nose has some mild milk chocolate or bakers chocolate, a touch of caramel, some coffee and modest roasted malt notes. Taste has less chocolate and more roasty malt and coffee flavour. Not too complex, but fairly balanced all around. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium, and a touch too light for my liking. Some mild acidity and bitterness in the finish. A nice serviceable stout, this was quite nice with dessert.
