Bottle from Project X. Medium orange coloured body, little head, lots of lace. Funky, spicy nose. Good drinkability of nutmeg, clove, brown sugar. Smooth mouthfeel. So much richer and satisfying than their regular pumpkin ale, and many other pumpkin beers. Worth seeking out.

Bottle shared by Sammy, 22oz Project X bottle into a tulip. Orange waxing on the cap.
Poured an appropriate orange-y brown, with a cream coloured head - light retention and only a trace of lacing. Good legs on this one, so I'm assuming the alcohol content is up there. Nose has some solid pumpkin flesh notes, lighter and dry breadiness. Pumpkin spicing is there, nutmeg and cinnamon are prominent with a good dose of brown sugar. Tastes of sweet pumpkin pie, brown sugar and quite a bit of sweetness, the alcohol only contributes to this. Again, prevalent pumpkin pie spicing. Full body, sweet finish and although the alcohol is present, it isn't overwhelming - I'm sure this would clean up nicely if given a little more time to sit in the bottle. Quite delicious and the best pumpkin ale I've had to come out of Ontario. I'd love to see this seasonally.
