On tap at C'est What for the 1812 War commemorative event. 27IBUs.
Dark brown, almost black with some translucency at the edges. Light brown head, with good lacing and solid retention. Sweet nose, some cane sugar, herbal and earthy, some black licorice and molasses. Flavour has some sweeter roasty notes, molasses, brown sugar, dark spicy breads and again some earthy and herbal tones. Medium full body, with medium carbonation. Quite awesome for a mild, they've loaded this beer up with a substantial amount of flavour. This needs to see further production.
