On cask at Cask Days 2012, into a pint glass.
Browned orange with a thick tan bubbles for head - good retention. Nose of curried pumpkin pie, gingerbread cookies. Sweet, warming spice and inviting. Brilliant aroma. Tastes of curry powder before pumpkin pie, some bready pie crust as well, well after the fact. Huge spicy finish that's almost a bit much to handle. Medium feel, but almost has a powdery/chalky palate to it. Excellent nose, but doesn't have the palate to make it an all 'round hit.
