Bottle from the brewery store at last Project X. A porter smell, initially, more pumpkin in aroma as it warmed to room temperature. Dark brown and lacey. Pumpkin in the taste and a spicy finish. Fairly smooth and would be great if even a thicker porter. A little astringent and dextrose, still decent drinkability.

On nitro at BarHop for the Black and Orange Hallowe'en event, into a shaker pint.
Creamy mocha cap on top of a black body, persistent head leaves moderate lace. A beautiful nitro pour. Nose of gentle pumpkin spice, nutmeg predominantly, some dark malt character but not too much in terms of porter qualities for the nose. Taste has some chocolate behind pumpkin pie and nutmeg, subtle cinnamon. Creamy body with spicing and roast lingering on the palate. Mega-drinkable, nitro presentation is awesome.
