On nitro-tap at Bar Hop during the GLB/Bellwoods takeover.
Beer is black with a good-sized tan head. Predictably good retention and lacing, given the delivery.
Scent is very restrained. Coffee, little else. Maybe a bit of chocolate. Very faint.
Flavourwise, the beer is very coffee-heavy. By far the dominant flavour. This might be enjoyable to others, but not to me. Some chocolate is there. Any other flavours that may be there are hard for me to access. Some roasted malt.
Medium bodied, low carbonation. Very smooth.
Overall, not my thing- way too much coffee. Others may enjoy it.
