This was another beer in the sampler I had while at this establishment. The beer is jet black in color, with no light coming through it at all with no head to speak of. The beer smells nicely of roasted coffee and chocolate. The flavor is dominated with roasted coffee flavors, finishing with the chocolate. There is a light carbonation, which is expected. The beer is nice and thick. As stouts go, this had a good drinkability. I would like to go back and try it when the weather turns.
