I have not had many rye's, but this one was an interesting take in my book. The beer was straw colored with minimal head. The nose was slightly hoppy, but that was all I could get from it. The flavor was hoppy through and through, so much so that it hid most of the malt flavors I would have liked to come through with the rye being used. It was refreshing on a summer night, but still seemed overhopped. The beer was moderately thick, giing a good feel and it had nice carbonation that didn't burn, but was not too thin. This was a good drinkable beer, but it was not my favorite from this establishment.
