Good to see the 'daring' beers comming out of Browning's brewery. Rich and velvety like I'd expect with an abundance of dark, dried fruits, coffee, cocoa, roasted malts, and alcohol woven into a motor-oil viscous brew. Hopped for balance and character, but not to create conflict with the malts. Syrupy and thick to the palate with a smooth even finish. A plastic flavor that persists in the finish is the only deterant. The beer was released at the Microbrewery Festival at Churchill Downs Infield this past weekend.
