This is an interesting beer, like a much better rye-based Guinness Stout - roasty, chocolatey, light, beautiful balance in the mouth. Is it a whale? No, but the aroma, taste, look, and mouthfeel are "good enough" for the craft beer world. If you're in southern France, near Spain, try to make it to this place in Argeles-sur-mer, a beach resort village, to try their work. They make an amber (red) and a blonde, along with some funky beers aged in the regional sweet wines (Muscat, Banyuls) that are certainly distinctive.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
