Thanks to Robbeer for Bringing this over to Japan.
A - Dark brown, and chocolate milk looking head
S - Nice charry malt, coffee notes,
T - Very light flavor, this is such a light beer for such a dark color. Cocoa, again coffee notes. Not much sweetness
M - Light body and carbonation.
D - What a nice light porter. I could suck these down all night long.

a friend of mine brought this one home from a trip to London, when it was still ok to transport liquid in bottles on overseas flites.
-appearance: deep deep mohogany red, little head that quickly dissapates to almost nothing a little lace that clings to glass.
-smell: very malty with an undertone of berries and coffee
-taste: roasted malt, coffee, bitter chocolate, blueberries, slight acitity and burnt wood taste.
-mouthfeel: very light carbonation, suprisingly thin for such a dark brew.
-drinkability: altogether a pleasing but not outstanding porter ive had much better and much worse.
cheers

Tasted by half-pint recently at the Market Porter, S. London.
A: clear, dark brown to mahogany in colour; a fluffy off-white beer head sustains on top of a low carbonated body.
S: very fruity, slightly vinous even, with plenty of ripe dark fruits, on top of a restrained roasty edge of black malts. Not as fullsome and malty as I'd prefer, but nicely fruity overall.
T: dark fruity flavour upfront, followed by cocoa, (mild) dark chocolates, walnut-like aromatic nutty flavour, and a mildly roasty (and slightly smokey) tinge of black malts and treacles at the back; a bitter-sweet edge of hops quietly lingers in a remote corner at the back of the palate... moderately dryish bitter in the finish.
M&D: light on the mouthfeel, and the body is slightly too thin... This is a fruity porter with an approachable profile; not exactly my cup of tea for this style, for its light-weight vis-a-vis the alc. strength (4.9%abv.), but I'm glad that I finally have found and got to taste this very drinkable porter on form.
