The second beer tasted, by half-pint, at the Land of Liberty's Easter Beerfest., 13/04/06. Gravity-dispensed from the cellar.
A: very clear and bright, dark yellowish straw colour, coming with a fluffy beer head and low carbonation--fresh-looking.
S: fresh and light on the nose, aromatic and flowery hops, with a little suggestion of lychee and citric/grapefruity fruits. Dryish hops and some pale malts at the second layer--all very well-mixed.
T: light-bodied but tasty fruity hops dominate the palate, followed by a bitter aftertone, and a lingering citric-zesty tang with a bit of tannic touch in the end. Not complex, but tasty alright.
M&D: refreshing on the mouthfeel; a very light-bodied, quaffable session-style blond bitter.
