Tasted by a half-pint at a JDW pub in East Croydon. Allegedly this beer is a contract brew, as a house beer at the Pommelers Rest pub, nr. Tower Bridge, London.
A: reddish amber in colour, coming with a faint head and not 100% transparent...
S: usual fruity smell of Goldings and a lightly spicy touch behind... a tad sour. Very simple, yet not unpleasant.
T: apple-ish fruits and tea (semi-roasted) mainly, plus mild caramely aroma and a chewy aftertaste of English hops. Bitterness remains soothing throughout, but not assertive enough for a good Bitter.
M&D: soft and light on the texture, refreshing enough for a 4.5%abv. Bitter and really shows nothing worth writing home about.
