Golden with a nice full pillowy beige head that leaves a good amount of lace. Grassy herbal hop aroma. Nice soft malt character with lots of grassy hops; Great Balance ! Medium bodied, smooth, and creamy with a crisp Euro-hop finish.
Very German pilsner-like with Euro Strong Lager characteristics ... maybe a bit hoppy to be a traditional Maibock but MJ did write this one up in one of his Beer Books.
