Handpump halfpint at the Volunteer.
A: Clear light amber body with a transient off-white head. Poor retention, not much lace. Meh.
S: Biscuity malt and lots of fruitiness - apricot, apple, and pear. Ok.
T: Follows the nose. Soft, sweet fruitiness ahead of some substantial bready malt. Bittersweet finish. Tasty enough, but pretty darn average.
M: Soft, creamy, nicely carbonated medium-light body. Great.
O: This was about the most forgettable, average bitter I've come across. Nothing bad about it at all, but nothing memorable either.
