Perhaps a new beer by the microbrewery, released at the Brewer's Jam, Knoxville TN. Fairly common of most American micro Oktoberfest beers. Opens with a bright orange color with some coppers and ambers mixed in. Nice initial head retention that faded quicker than prefered. Simple aromas of rich malted grains and a delicate hop aroma -- not much else. Flavors show a malt / grain mix that the aromas did not. Also the hop flavor and bitterness were more elevated. Along with a light estery quality, made the brew characterful in flavor, but a little outside of most Oktoberfests. The body was a bit lighter, giving an opportunity for grain flavors and hops to dominate in the finish. Good beer, but not a standout among good O'fests.
