Bought this one on the beach in Freeport and poured into a plastic cup, review from notes on a napkin. Pale yellow color, slight skunk aroma and some sweet maltiness at play. Flavor profile is a little better than the Sands Lager I had a few hours before. Still some corn adjuncts at work, as with the other Bahamian brews I tried. Crisp, very refreshing, and a great beach beer, but nothing special at all.

I'm not sure that this is brewed by the Grand Bahamian Brewing Co. The label on the bottle doesn't say what brewery brewed the beer. It just says Eclipse Beer....All Natural, Full Strength, Brewed in the Bahamas.
On to the beer. Nothing exciting here. Typical Macro Lager. Not bad but I wouldn't exactly call it craft brewed.
Crystal clear pale golden in color. No head just a thin ring of lace on the top. Not much going on in the aroma. A bit more of a sweet malt smell than most BMC beers.
Flavor is pretty typical. A bit of sweet malts. Maybe some extract but hop flavor is non-existant.
Feels a bit more full than the style but still on the light side of light bodied.
It's drinkable on a wonderful Bahamian day on the Islands but I can't think of any other occasian to drink it.
