look: 3 | smell: 3 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 3 | overall: 3
Appearance: pale yellow, good clarity, nice two fingers of white foam, good head retention

Aroma: very delicate aroma of fresh wort and some herbal hops

Flavor: dry malt flavor, grainy with a lacing of continental hop flavor, then a very mild sweetness comes in before a quiet hop bite dries it out, iron in the aftertaste

Mouthfeel: light body, light carbonation, a bit minerally and astringent

Overall Impression: A generous gift from one of my colleagues, purchased at the site the original brewery in Monchau, Germany (now just a museum). The bottle says they use hop extract. That would partly account for the lack of complexity. Not too bad though.
