Poured into a wine glass from a 330 ml. green bottle, showing a deep brownish/black color with clear deep mahogany highlights. A creamy mocha cap offers good retention and moderate lacing.
Nose offers roasted chocolate/carob and a light nuttiness, along with sweet cherry and light fig. Flavor follows, with lightly sweet cherry/chocolate notes carrying the day. Pleasant and with a moderately lingering finish. Carbonation is firm yet not overdone, masking the sweet finish well and accentuating the fruit notes. Slightly chewy milk chocolate feel and finish.
Side by side with Carib's Royal Extra and even a Foreign Extra from Guinness, this beer got the Blue Ribbon.

A new beer from st.lucias brewery. Kind of dissapointing.
Pours a nice black with a nice creamy white head, so far looks like a good stout.
Smells very sweet, like candy sugar, some caramel, roastiness..
Way too sweet, tastes like someone dumped a pound of sugar in the bottle. Maybe a bit of roasted malts, coffee, alcohol is somewhat noticeable, but the sweetness is too overwhelming.
Nice milky mouthfeel, but not very drinkable at all, at least they tried!
