A very nice appearance: a persistent creamy dense head remains in the glass til the end. The head is close to perfection, on a more common hazy copper color body. The taste reveals notes of wheat, raspberries, maybe cherries, and strawberries. The mouthfeel is round and enjoyable, as other pale ales from KairinMaru.

Continuing with Kairinmaru's scandalously romantic theme beers, this one is "Otaru tryst", and the label features a couple cuddling on a park bench.
The beer itself is a light orange maple syrup color--or a perfect soukenbicha as it could alternately be described. Cloudy, with a creamy, yeasty white head that invites--looks like dessert.
The smell is sour hops and a fruity, salty orange aroma. Interesting.
The taste is overall a bit light, with a flavorful malt with roasted grain highlights taste. A big, bready hop taste arrives at the end, and finishes clean. Fairly strong carbonation, which was unexpected but welcome made this beer very drinkable and refreshing. A great pale ale!
