This beer presents itself with a dark copper, almost cherrywood, color body, and an everlasting, light tan fluff of a head. Heavy, organic-looking lacing that slid slowly down the glass.
The aroma is a spicy one of vanilla, molassas, and cloves that I found inviting. It's potent, with a hop background as well.
The taste is light bodied, of sweet, roasted grains in the fore of the mouth, quickly transitioning to flavorful hops in the mouth and then in the aftertaste. Pretty well balanced, smooth.
The bubbles were a little weak I thought, but this is a very drinkable marzen of light to medium body.
