Very soft and creamy head, looking very nice. The body looks great, opaque golden orange. Very enjoyable smell: wheat, yeast and banana as usual, with some nice sour cream aspects and notes of citrus. Bananas are ripe and not as dry as in other japanese weizens. The taste is great too, showing the same elements as the smell. I particularly enjoy the sour cream note that gives some thickness, which is quite enjoyable for a weizen. I also appreciate the round character of the hops, being sometimes disappointed by the excessive dryness of certain weizen. The only negative point might be the citrus, a bit too present in my opinion. Still a great beer.

This is a dark, dark cloudy orange colored beer, with a soft head that quickly fades. Good lacing. The smell is straight-up banana, and makes me wonder if they aren't possibly trying to mimic the down-the-road Otaru Beer brewery's weizen...but no problem--because I think they do it better and make a little more of a "raw" brew.
The taste bows before the totally over-the-top carbonation that sends the entire mouth into shock before allowing the powdery banana wheat taste to emerge. Once it does, the trip is immediately over in a clean finish--and only that photograph of a moment after the carbonation receded remains of the taste.
I could drink many of these.
