Review taken from notes, beer sampled at the brewery. 5.7% ABV Deep clear amber pour, medium carbonation and a small off white head. Malt shines in the nose but there is a winey undercurrent.Very light in the mouth and then a big winey flavor hits. This odd flavor carries on through the finish and in to the aftertaste making this a strange brew.

Pours a clear amber-orange color with an off white head. Faint odors of caramel - no hop aroma at all. Flavor is moderately sweet, with a weak maltiness to it. Barely perceptable alchohol flavors. This is a drinkable beer, but not one I would stock up on.

Golden-brown body, on the pale side for a brown ale. Good sized beige head bursts forth and sticks.
Nose full of light roast, subdued chocolate, crusty Italian bread, musty yeast and citric hops.
Taste mirror the aroma. Begins faintly roasted with both sweet and bitter chocolate notes. Turns quite earthy, grainy and bready throughout the midsection. Alot of mushy yeast. End is dominated by the surge of citric hoppiness. Somewhat jarring for the style, as it interrupts the rest of the components of the beer.
Standardly smooth, but a hair light in the mouth.
Decent all around, but could use a good deal of refinement.
