Baden Baden 26/10 2016. 33 cl bottle at Petek Kebab in the centre of town. As "Waldhaus Ohne Filter Dunkel". Pine tree on the label - it is from Waldhaus Brewery after all.
Pours hazy dark brown with an off-white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweetish. Caramel, lightly toasted malts. Hint of brown sugar. Not very strong.
Medium carbonation and watery palate. Thin, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is well balanced. Medium sweetness followed by a medium bitterness.
Pleasant dunkel. Maybe a little bland.
