Chocolate Milk Stout

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a dark red to brown color with a thin off white foamy head that left no lace. The aroma had some roasted nuttiness, light chocolate malt, some dark coffee beans. Touch of earthy bitterness. The flavor had a nice roasted maltiness guiding some ashy dry notes to it. Light hoppy bitterness, somewhat earthy. Dry earthy semi-roasty aftertaste followed into the finish. The feel was about medium bodied with an okay sessionability about it. Light carbonation. Overall, I didn’t really see this as a sweet stout, and honestly not much of a stout, almost more of a brown ale to me.
