Poured from growler to tumbler.
Appearance - Golden straw yellow with hints of orange, poured with half finger white frothy head. Little head retention.
Smell - Citrusy, with floral notes, mostly coming through with a bit of pine and grapefruit. Nice smells of caramel and hints of sweet malts. Small amount of alcohol detected in nose.
Taste - Nice dry bitter beginning with a bit of sweet dry malt in the middle. Not much in terms of malt depth but it backs up the bitters well. Citrus and dry bitterness at the end, maybe a bit of pine and honey.
Mouthfeel - Dry and light, very well carbonated for the style, but not overpowering. Nice bitter bite on the tongue and goes down smooth.
Drinkabilty - Good drinkability, could be drank quite a bit on most any occasion. Just right for the style.
Nice offering from KBC.
