Cask pint: hand pulled at The Crown Inn, Oakengates on Saturday 31st March 2012.
Looked OK, a light brown come bright amber body with an off-white head of foam that tried to stay the distance.
No huge smells, a weak blend of the usual suspects (malts and hops), nothing to report on really.
The taste was also a weak, bland affair: I sometimes wonder if this brewery just brews one batch of basic beer and tinker with it a bit, give it a new name and claim it’s a completely new brew.
Not overly impressed with this offering.
