Dark, clear bronze under a ringlet of lace.
Sweet berries and caramel-filled nose, coupled with sizeable citric hops.
Begins ever so slightly toasty. Hints at a marzen. Turns increasingly caramel sweet with touches of grain. Light berries and cherries. Clean, well-lagered middle. End with a flurry of lime-peel hops.
Light bodied but not forgetable in the mouth. Steady-rising carbonation.
An excellent quaffer. And a fairly unque brew at that, akin to a hybred Steam Beer and Vienna Lager. Similar to, but not as hearty as their Devils Lake Red Lager at the Madison location.
