Pours a clear light brownish dark golden color with off-white head. Floral notes, some caramel malt, and some light pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with much of the same. Nice.

Quite similar to Dreadnaught. If there were a Double APA category this one would fit into it and frankly, if it wasnt for the name, I would have listed this as a Double IPA. This is an excellent brew but be careful, it packs a deceivingly strong alcohol wallop that creeps up like the walking dead. Pours a brilliant dark copper body with deep blood orange hues. Head is a bit lacking and thin. Thats my only complaint about this beer. Aroma is a whole host of pine, juniper, grapefruit, saffron, sage, and wild floral notes. The nose gives off the impression that this beer is going to be overly bitter but its actually quite balanced. The taste is a slightly dumbed down version of the aroma but a surprisingly thick and chewy mouthfeel offsets much of the bitterness until the finish. Very full bodied, smooth, and almost creamy. The finish, on the other hand is dry just shy of blistering. This is an exceptional beer that the Dane should strongly consider offering more often. Really, be careful though. I dont know what the ABV of this one is but a couple pints had me rocking on my bar stool.
