The appearance was very nice with a thick head that didn't leae the entire time of drinking the beer. The smell was great, it reminded me a little of Dreadnaught, just not quite as good (sorry). The taste was a bit watery, but the hop flavor and aroma was nice, it was just masked a little by the watery sensation. The mouthfeel was a bit watery too. Overall drinkability was just fine, but I would pobably opt for another beverage the next time.

cask tap at the brewery with blackie and golden2wenty1

This is a regular IPA, dont let the "triple" confuse you

appearance: lovely medium amber body, with a huge creamy tan head and very nice lacing....cask ipa's, yet another reason to love the great dane - easily the best brewpub i have ever stepped foot in

smell: pretty well hopped, pungent citrus, light pine...smooth

taste: super-smooth body and finish...grapefruit-citrus, moderately hopped. this seems similar to the texas speedbump its a much smoother product, at the sacrifice of some of the pungent hopping

mouthfeel: smooth and creamy

drinkability: high
